Together with the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, Listen Up Denver! and Park House hosted the 2nd Firefly Autism Road To Blues & Brews event on Saturday, August 1st to benefit Firefly Autism and Autism Speaks and give some of the best bands in the Rocky Mountain region the opportunity to perform alongside some of the biggest musical names in the country at the 22nd annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival on September 18th – 20th 2015.
It was a beautiful, sunny day in Denver and all the bands brought the heat so the judges' job was not an easy one. The winner of the 2015 'Road to Blues & Brews' was Michael Hornbuckle Band! The runner up was Union Driftwood! Congratulations to both and thanks to all the bands that played so well last weekend. 3 days of beautiful weather, a stunning mountain backdrop and the best music ever. To quote a Huffington Post writer, "yes, it's that good. Just ask the unicorns."
